Derby Originals is the original inventor of the 4-sided hay bag, U.S. Patent No. D742,078. Super Tough Bottom® is a registered trademark #6259398.
Our four-sided hay bags are designed to allow your horse to eat from any part of the hay bag. The patented design is made from reinforced nylon webbing with cross stitching at every intersection and bartack stitching at stress points for added strength and durability. The exclusive Super Tough Bottom® features reinforced overlapping nylon webbing for added durability while allowing dust and debris to exit the bag.
This hay bag measures 32" x 24" x 12" and holds 1 bale of Timothy, Orchard, Alfalfa, or other hay. The 2" square openings help slow hay consumption and reduce hay waste while providing controlled access to hay. Opening sizes may vary by approximately ±0.25" due to hand stitching. Includes a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects.

I like the volume of hay that it holds and that it’s wider than it is long. I don’t worry about my horse getting a foot/shoe caught.
