Good value for a leadrope with a shank. The chain part is great, and the rope itself is nice and long which comes handy with big spooks and spins - you can let the rope go a fair bit and still keep it in hand. It doesn't feel like a 3/4inch lead though, closer to 1/2, good size but if you're looking for the thicker rope version, this isn't it.
I wanted the 3/4" version but decided to keep the set anyway, thin as it might be, because it suits what I need right now and is a good value.
I purchased these lead ropes for our Quarter horse stud. The product is functional, and it helps to control stud behavior while remain humane. It is easy to put on, and I can use any halter that we have with it. We also use the stud chain when practicing for shows. It is more practical with practice, and it eliminates the use of expensive show tack for practicing. These lead ropes are functional and very affordable.
Wish this came with a thicker rope. But will do for now.
